Siding › Vinyl Siding

Vinyl that lies flat and stays put.

Insulated and standard vinyl installed with proper expansion clearance — the detail that separates a good job from a wavy one.

What's included

What's included

  • Full tear-off and sheathing inspection
  • House wrap and taped seams before any panel goes up
  • Insulated or standard panel in your choice of profile
  • Nailed to spec — never face-nailed tight, always centered in the slot
  • Matching J-channel, corner posts, and trim
  • Window and door surrounds detailed to shed water
  • Full haul-away of the old siding

Worth knowing

Why installations go wrong

  • Nails driven tight, so panels cannot expand and buckle in summer
  • No house wrap, leaving sheathing exposed to wind-driven rain
  • Reverse-lapped J-channel that funnels water behind the panel
  • Skipped starter strip leveling, so every course above runs off
  • Caulking used to hide gaps instead of proper flashing

Straight talk

What to expect

Vinyl expands and contracts up to half an inch across a long wall between January and July in our climate. Every fastener has to be centered in its slot and left slightly loose. It is invisible when done right and impossible to hide when done wrong.
